Dr. Thomas Ulicny, DDS

Dr. Thomas Ulicny brings both clinical expertise and thoughtful leadership to the field of periodontics. He earned his B.S. in Biology and an MBA in Health Systems Management from Stony Brook University before completing his DDS at Columbia University (2018). He then pursued advanced specialty training in Periodontics at NYU College of Dentistry, where he earned his Certificate in Periodontics in 2021.

As a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Dr. Ulicny is committed to evidence-based, compassionate care. He provides comprehensive periodontal and implant treatments—including gum and bone grafting, osseous surgery, crown lengthening, sinus augmentation, extractions, and the surgical placement and management of dental implants.

He is an active member of the American Dental Association and American Academy of Periodontology, and participates regularly in study clubs and continuing education to stay at the forefront of advances in his field.

Dr. Ulicny’s approach centers on treating patients like family—making sure they feel informed, comfortable, and cared for at every step. He is passionate about helping people restore not only their oral health but also their confidence and quality of life.

Outside of periodontics, Dr. Ulicny treasures time with his wife and three children, and values family, community, and service to others.
